Discover Brazil: A Journey of Culture, Connection, and Career Exploration

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport by August 2025. We provide assistance with passports if required.

• Attend at least two travel sessions in 2025.

• Fundraise a minimum of $700. We will provide the tools and support.

Itinerary (We are collaborating with the organizers of the Black Travel Summit to design a meaningful and enriching experience for our students. Please note that this itinerary is a preliminary draft, and adjustments may be made as we finalize the details.)

🇧🇷 Day 1 & 2: Departure and Arrival in Brazil

• Depart from Baltimore or DC in the evening and arrive in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on the morning of November 13th.

• Orientation session to discuss the trip’s goals and expectations.

• Relax for the day

📸 📝 Day 3: Black Travel Summit - Opening Day

• Attend the Black Travel Summit and Participate in panel discussions

• Network with influencers, content creators, and industry leaders.

🏝🍽 Day 4: Summit and Cultural Immersion

• Attend morning sessions.

• Visit the Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain.

• Experience the energy of Copacabana Beach and enjoy a traditional Brazilian churrasco dinner with a guest speaker from the hospitality or tourism industry.

🛫 Day 5: Departure

• Depart from São Paulo, Brazil in the evening with unforgettable memories, new connections, and inspiration for the future.
